Managed security company Network Box has published its malware (MALicious softWARE) Software designed to destroy, aggravate and otherwise make life unhappy. See crimeware, virus, worm, logic bomb, macro virus and Trojan. chart for November 2007.
In November 2007, the company's security responses reportedly blocked over 4m viruses, spam e-mails, worms and Trojans daily, with the USA accounting for over 20% of spam blocked and 18% of viruses.

3. the company, the amount of spam released by the US, 20.24%, has nearly trebled from October 2007, when it accounted for 8%. In second place is Russia with 6.8%, up by 2%, and in third place is China with 6%, doubling the amount from October. Network Box attributes the month on month rise to a large number of compromised PCs in the US.
In addition, the US topped the virus charts, accounting for 18.37% of all viruses blocked by Network Box. In second place is South Korea, accounting for 6.33%, and Malaysia is third place with 5.88%.
The dominant NetSky.q worm has accounted for 40.66% of malware, which is a slight decrease from October 2007. The Warezov.um variant is second with 24.5% and the Stration.YY third with 3.07%.
The Agent.fiy Trojan caused the most issues for November 2007, accounting for 67.23% of all Trojans blocked, while Pakes.bqb followed with 15.08%, the company said.
